After quite some time of anticipation, the BR game type for BF6 is officially releasing. Last week's rumors claiming its release would align with Season 1 were spot-on. Players can access the mode starting very soon.

Alongside the BR release, the first season is also beginning. This introduces a brand-new arena, a fresh game type, and new weapons. What's more, the Redacted Sector is being introduced. A embedded teaser will be released at release, offering gamers a preview of what's to come.
Free-to-Play Access Allows Battle Royale Open to Any Player
Possibly the biggest announcement is that this new experience will be F2P. Much like popular offerings, you don't have to buy the main title to join in. A number of players have earlier tested early versions of the game type. Those playtests were conducted in a testing environment, which the team described as their biggest community collaboration initiative.
The heart-pounding excitement when facing another squad is unique in any other BR game. It feels do or die, and you genuinely worry if you live or perish.
Although I was a snob earlier, I'm fully for the battle royale after playing it.
These first feedback from testers have been very positive. Certainly, the experience may have evolved over the past month or two in terms of tuning and speed. Still, early signs are positive that this new mode could be a genuine alternative to popular games. Some are hoping that the best guns from the base title will be available in the new mode.
